Contract tracking: renewal dates, notice deadlines and reminders
Contract tracking
Keep your contracts in one place with the dates that matter. Open **Contracts** in the sidebar.
What you record
When you enter an end date and a notice period, the tracker works out the **notice deadline** (the end date minus the notice period) and shows it as "act by". This is the date most people miss on auto-renewing contracts.
Track a document you created
Open any document and choose **Track this contract**. The tracker fills in dates only when it finds an unambiguous date in the document's fields. It never guesses. Check every date before saving.
Reminders
For each contract that is **Active**, you get an email and an in-app notification **90, 60, 30 and 7 days** before the notice deadline and before the end date, and once if a date has passed. Each reminder is sent once.
Needs attention and saved views
The Contracts page lists what needs attention in the next 90 days, and has one-click views: Auto-renewing, Ending in 90 days, Notice deadline in 30 days, and No end date.
Calendar feed (Team plan and above)
Create a private calendar link and subscribe in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar to see every end date and notice deadline there. The link is shown once and anyone who has it can see your contract dates, so keep it private. You can revoke it at any time.
Important
The tracker records the dates **you** enter and reminds you about them. It does not read or interpret your contracts and cannot tell you what a contract says or requires. Always confirm dates and notice terms against the signed contract. CreateDocs.ai is a document-drafting tool and does not provide legal advice.
