When you export a document you can choose **Encrypted PDF**. Available on the **Solo**, **Team**, **Business** and **Enterprise** plans (the same plans as document export).
How it works
Open the document and choose Export, then **Encrypted PDF**.
Enter a password of **at least 4 characters**.
The PDF is created with that password applied.
Things to know
We do **not store your password**. If you lose it, we cannot recover it for you, so keep it somewhere safe.
To open the file, use any PDF reader and enter the password when it asks.
Share the password through a different channel from the file itself.
Short passwords are easy to guess. Use a longer one for sensitive documents.
